watching cable news election coverage, i find it interesting how those touch screen boards are designed. outside of movies, it’s really the only instance of performative UX I can think of. Where the experience of the user matters far less than the experience I get as the viewer watching them use it. These things are just objectively terrible for the user based on how many functions are hidden behind secret gestures or unlabeled buttons or whatever. But the designer behind them optimized solely for a third-party’s experience. Kinda interesting

Spent today to make a more generic version of this. Still rough around the edges but I'm SUPER happy with this hierarchical navigation concept. It falls back gracefully to a standard NavigationStack on compact size classes.
