My new video just dropped!

It’s called “Adam Curry: From Inventing Podcasting to Reinventing It with Agentic AI”. It’s an interview with @adam , and it has chapters so you can skip to the sections that interest you. :

Pixelfed has 5 microservices that power the ecosystem (autospam, discovery, push, recovery, versions)

I wear a lot of hats beside the coding one 😎

I built #Fedideck for myself and everyone is welcome to use it if they want. Did I hand code every line? No. I did use AI to help me with the development, but it's not a once and done thing. I've been iterating on it for months (almost a year now).

For those still grieving TweetDeck (RIP, gone too soon), there's FediDeck: https://fedideck.app .

An awesome project from @phillycodehound for power users of Open Social platforms, putting everything you want in one place. Easily side-scrollable to keep up with lists, notifications, hashtag feeds, and anything else you want.

They have spent years in the classroom, and they know firsthand that handing kids AI-generated answers doesn't build critical thinking; it weakens it. Search is how students reach the open web. A search engine that arrives only with AI attached isn't offering a choice. It's holding education for ransom." https://blog.kagi.com/education-should-not-be-held-for-ransom

Here are some strategies. . “It’s online where you’ll be lulled into doomscrolling, engage in unhealthy digital interactions, or witness violence. A good portion of what you see may not even be real.
