For folks who want to understand long term significance. We put this bike lane in under NEPA with a Categorical Exclusion, and as a result of the profound safety results, the government could not remove it with a CatEx, but would need to do an Environmental Assessment, or Environmental Impact Statement. The latter two are very significant documents to complete, and that is a finding that can protect bike projects everywhere.
