It's been a difficult day learning about several friends who knew a victim or the shooter, or both. Also speaking to a bandmate who runs our town's summer school program who had a teacher walk into her office in tears today, expressing how she had raised red flags about the shooter during his last two years of high school... which were ignored. I love you, #ChicoCA.

We had a #shooting at my library in #ChicoCA. An 18-year-old shot & killed 2 adults and a kid was injured. Chico PD indicates his motivation was "a Columbine massacre type of shooting," which would have happened when he was 4.

He just graduated from Chico High two weeks ago & we have mutual friends with his mom. My son probably knows him from HS.

I'm here regularly & have books on hold. The library is a big part of my life & was a special place for my kids. I'm kinda shook up.
