Was having issues with Tailscale DNS when using an exit node. Turns out by default the custom DNS servers, even those configured for Split DNS, must be specifically allowed with an Exit Node.

The NY office is in a part of Long Island that used to only have a Mental Hospital. Corporate parks have sprung up around it and some big parts of the original campus infrastructure are now abandoned, like this massive coal fired energy plant. The campus roads are public so they become part of people's commute.

My Lyft driver this morning was using the Tesla FSD for the whole drive. I couldn't find an official position from Lyft about if this is allowed or not, but I'm guessing they just turn a blind eye and will use this as a push to promote their self driving fleet project, whatever its status is.

You can't opt out from this in the app, you can only ask the driver to stop using it, and that's shitty.

Haven't flown Delta in a while. Had some eCredits I had to burn. Their on board food offerings are pretty sad especially compared to what you can order on Alaska.

My fucking neighbor (not the Airbnb one) two houses down was having their annual Halloween party last night. They got a new sound system that was too loud on the bass, and even with all windows closed I could hear their shitty music until 1 AM.

I don't know how the neighbors right next to him coped.
