I have multiple people per week asking me to cancel their trial of In Your Face. The app doesn’t even have an App Store trial. To try, user can just fully use the app until they saw 10 alerts. Even if it had a normal subscription trial I couldn’t cancel it on the user‘s behalf.
I’m now considering adding a fake „Cancel Trial“ button that does absolutely nothing 😅

@matt_birchler I've now finally had time to implement the "Next Up" feature in the Mac version of @inyourface. Not sure how you originally intended it, but it appears when pressing the keyboard combo, and disappears when you let go. The interaction is so fun that I sometimes just play with it 😂
For a freelance client, I’m currently working on some hard-to-crack problems and complex flows. Even though I have #Codex available, I don’t quite trust it with this particular task. So I’ve been heads down in the code, earphones on, fully focused for long stretches, just like in the old days.

I’ve got a new app in the works. Basically it’s a remote control thingy for iOS that makes some stuff happen on your Mac.
Technically these are two apps, the main iOS app and a Mac background app that receives the commands from the phone and reacts to them. The Mac app itself has no other functionality apart from some settings.
Should I even try submitting it to the App Store or will I land in review hell with this?
I've had a really great time at @swiftcraft again. Beautiful location and great speakers. I've made a bunch of new friends and met some old ones.

I‘m getting a bit desperate here. I got a critical bugfix update for In Your Face rejected because of a UI copy issue which can be fixed also with the next version. I’ve replied to the rejection and asked to have it approved this time. Nothing is moving since 3 days and I’m getting more and more support emails and angry users.

Hey Fruit Stand friends, can anyone help out Martin? I kind of rely on In Your Face to get myself to meetings, and it’s obnoxious to have a critical bug fix get hung up on a copy issue
I made an oopsie in the latest In Your Face release.
There were some issues which caused the app to silently crash, which in turn resulted in people missing meetings. The last two days were incredibly stressful, trying to fix the issues, answer support emails and waiting for Apple to approve bugfix updates.
And of course Apple rejected the most important submission because of a random UI text that's been there since ages 😠
