I have no idea what to draw for relic. My first inclination was an old car, but ya, you saw my apple. :) Maybe something simpler. 🤔

I saw some great #Inktober2026 for yesterday, this is what I’ve got for Apple. Don’t judge too much. :) lol. I figured I’d shared it out since I promised folks I would.

I’m actually very tempted to try this - I cannot draw very well, but it might be fun to do some chicken scratches for it, and make some ‘art’ :)

These are great! Love the little video of one of the developers in the demo!

These iPhone Duo Group Labs are great. Super honest and fun by the panels. They are saying ‘we don’t know’ when they do.. https://developer.apple.com/forums/discussions/1669080/live?u_t=3&cid=ht-livestream

So beautiful!!!!

@Iconfactory hello, been testing out v2.0 of Tapestry. I’ve got my feed I think stuck in the small preview mode, even though I think I have things set up correctly. Any tips?

Stewart’s videos are so great, thank you to him for all he does!

The worst thing about my Ford MachE is that there’s no buttons at all (except a volume knob). I’m hoping this forced North American manufactures to change too. @Natasha_Jay https://tech.lgbt/@Natasha_Jay/117003829554514911

This video - wow. So much stuff in this app, a ton for free. I’ve downloaded and signed up. Funny to see my apps in the store for like 4000 days. lol.

I think Rob and I would be great friends if we lived close to each other :) This is always a great read on Saturday mornings! Subscribe in your favorite RSS reader.

Thanks for the reminder, been meaning to buy this. It’s really great! Also paid more. ~$5 seemed too little.

That's funny, I was going to post the very same thing as Ged. I love developing apps at work that don't go in the app store, but my side projects it's very hard to get motivated. I'm constantly concerned about being rejected by app review.. maybe I'll just switch to all macOS apps and skip the app store? The thought had run through my head more than once.

Saturday Morning Coffee:

"Netflix is ultimately the big winner here. They get to save billions of dollars for content creation and lure Paramount into a huge amount of debt"

A great point by Rob, when I heard they called off the deal, this is what I thought too. Did they do it on purpose vs just pulling out initially? https://rob.crabapples.net/2026/02/28/saturday-morning-coffee.html

I was listening to the latest The Talk Show with Brent Simmons, and thought of a good RSS app idea that I haven’t seen yet.. I might just write it, to expand the UI ideas for RSS apps, but also to scratch my itch of how I think I want to read RSS. https://daringfireball.net/thetalkshow/2026/01/31/ep-440

I signed up late last year, it's been really great to read some super well written astronomy stories. Well worth it.
