I like to put a note on a profile when I block that person, so today when I saw someone quote a blocked account, I was able to see the reason for blocking them was: "one of those useless fools who thinks using *just* is some kind of crime". Yeah, I had to block someone for coming after me for using the word *just* in a way that infuriated them. I suppose they think the word is forbidden since it can sometimes be used/heard as a microagression. People have some very stupid ideas about how language works. But at least it's easy to block them.

I just discovered this video, this song, and the musicians who made it, and now will be neurodivergently obsessed with it for a week or two. It came out about 3 months ago but I only just chanced upon it. It's #Neurodivergent by #Inpatient, the band comprising Ren and Chris Webby. I'm not usually much for rap music but this one does it for me. Very clever, great lyrics.

I still think there are many business opportunities for entrepreneurs to replace fash systems with ones that are not fascist. Every elevator pitch is "X, but not fascist".

That's just a random internet comment about clergy abusing kids that feels worth repeating. But it's got me thinking, about how that wolf-in-sheeps-clothing meme is some subtle brainwashing that is meant to keep the flocks worried about their fellow sheep being dangerous, and how the Powers That Be want everyone to forget that the shepherd is the real danger as they're the one with power over them. It's class-warfare bullshit dressed up as folksy wisdom.

I watched *The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas* last night. Dolly is definitely the best part. Burt's pretty good too, even manages to carry a tune well enough to play opposite one of the best singers around. The movie is far from perfect, but it's got a ton of charm. And Dolly is so good as a hooker with a heart of gold. Dolly wrote some of the songs for the movie, including Sneakin' Around, a fun duet she sang with Burt. Dom Deluise is a nice bonus, too. He's so good at playing a goofy villain. (Dom and Burt did a bunch of movies together, back in the day.) Good, clean, raunchy fun!
