The foxes who live round us get very close now.

I've had two bubble teas in my entire life though to be fair they were hard to come by in Thatcher's Britain

Unclear if he deemed that too many or too few bubble teas per week. But certainly not the correct amount.

Overheard today:
(Incredulous) Two bubble teas A WEEK?

I used to work with someone who went to Ed Balls' wedding. (All he remembers is there was a bouncy castle, because he was a tiny child.)

I have some spelt flour to use up and I was tempted by one recipe for banana loaf and then I see it was written by ED FUCKING BALLS

Was this written by the CIA #totp

errkkkk you don't even mine it, it's a by-product of yttrium. OF COURSE

How can I be expected to research dysprosium mining when there is a black midi track on YouTube called ‘Dysprosium’ with 9.02 million notes?

wait we use gen-AI as short for "generative", not "general AI," right?

Has Heston Blumenthal or someone tried to make food that actually looks like gen-AI menu food?

Also I would totally eat a cheese Hobnob. But then I'm probably an outlier in that I used to eat cheese, Nutella and marshmallow fluff sandwiches on occasion.

The product is fine, basically the same as Goldfish, it's just that Penguins are indelibly CHOCOLATE FUCKING BISCUITS and it makes no sense to diversify into savoury. If you want to do that make a new product, shaped like pigeons or thrushes or something.

Some product innovation manager is very pleased with themselves for creating this wrongness. We're probably three years from cheese Hobnobs.

(Prince voice) # Belgian rain, Belgian rain #

Just checked the rain map thing for the afternoon and was genuinely jumpscared by the rain coming from the east rather than the prevailing west.

Does anyone know a good in-browser subtitle (srt) cleaner? One you just paste text into, not a file upload/download one.
The one I was using has succumbed to sketchy pop-up nonsense.

I don't know much about this but it looks fun

My wife got given this I think, is this good?

So this book has a great title and I went into it purposefully knowing no more than that and I'm not really going to say much else about it because it's probably best if you can do the same. It largely lives up to the title, I think, there is a lot of clever and novel invention here. It's very much ideas above characterisation etc. but I think it's brisk enough and sufficiently well written to get away with that. #bookstodon
