@support @Iconfactory Hi guys, I’m new to using the app within the last month, since I saw the ability to post came to the app. I’ve ditched Ivory for it, and really like it so far. (Loved Ivory too)

Are any of the following on your roadmap for future features of the app? I miss them from Ivory:

• See who liked / boosted / quoted your posts
• See and edit my profile in-app (not browser)
• See other people’s profiles
• Search for other accounts

Thanks for building a great app!

I’ve just launched the TestFlight for the next app I’ve been working on - Teabear, your cozy TBR list app! Teabear is a To Be Read app designed to get out of your way and get you back to reading your books! Easily add books and organize them into lists, and even share those lists with friends.

@caseyliss Hi Casey, in a recent ATP you briefly mentioned Apple asking if you had rights for Hunt for Red October for the app icon. Along those lines, I see a bunch of different movies in your App Store screenshots.

I’m about to launch an audio player tailored for audiobooks. I’m wondering if I’m supposed to seek individual permissions to use legit audiobooks in my screenshots, such as the attached. I know you’re not a copyright lawyer, but, do you have any insight you can share?

@johnvoorhees Hi John! Longtime reader, first time caller :) I’ve been working hard on my first iOS app - an audiobook player, called Oughtyo.

I’d love to add you to the TestFlight to get your feedback on it!

More interestingly, I’ve done this app ENTIRELY through vibe-coding with Cursor. 0 lines of code were written by me. But, I spent a lot of time making it to ensure it adhered to good iOS design principles and usability. If you’re interested, I’d love to talk further on this via email!

Hello fediverse! Do you like listening to audiobooks and other audio files on your iPhone? Would you be interested in helping me beta test my very first app, called Oughtyo? I’m hoping to release to the App Store soon, and I could really use your help to test things out! The free public beta is here!

@imyke @viticci Hey guys! Is Remaster dead? I really miss it!! By far my favorite video game podcast out there :)

@christianselig Hey Christian I dunno how much you care to pursue stuff like this, but I saw this ad on Reddit for a pet widget app that uses Pixel Pals footage as if it were there own app’s content. https://instagram.com/p/C-ltkp2uhKO/

Just thought I’d let you know in case you take action against stuff like that!

Speaking of #Apple #VisionPro, I recently started a blog chronicling my experience with it! I’ve used it every day since launch - and during the week, a full 8 hours a day! I don’t know there are many who can claim the same, and I’m eager to share my experience with you, including why I think this device could someday reshape how people get work done, and why it has the potential to be THE most secure device on the planet. Post #1 is up now, “Why did I get a Vision Pro?” https://www.imatthewcm.com/vision-pro/2024/4/8/why-did-i-get-a-vision-pro

@christianselig Hey Christian! Loving the Juno app, so glad to be using another one of your fantastic apps!

I’m pretty sure this is an issue with the video itself, but do you know what would cause some videos to play in the polished, single-window UI versus a view that looks more like the web UI? Hard to explain, but I’ve attached 2 pictures. Critical Role seems to always look like that, but most other videos look like the screenshot of Colbert.

@christianselig Apollo’s becoming quite a hefty boi.

@atpfm Heya, I just filled out the member survey. Regarding the question about switching to annual - is that preferable on your end? Because I’ll switch that over immediately if so.

Also, I’ve really been enjoying the member specials and I love listening to the bootleg feed. It’s my favorite way to listen to the show. As long as that’s locked behind membership (it should be!) I’ll be a member forever. I do miss the peak ATP ad era though, I discovered lots of stuff I still use through the show.

Several months later, I have very different thoughts on the state of Overwatch 2 😅

Well…let’s post something. I think I’d like to use this space to talk about some of my interests and opinions on said interests. Namely:
* LEGO building & lighting
* Video games
* Apple-related stuff
* Disney/Pixar/Marvel
Meet me in the next post and I’ll tell ya what I think about the state of Overwatch 2.
