waiting for the LSD/du Sable bride, they gotta whack it with a hammer before it can open

Taking a little bit of a river cruise

This shit sucks so bad man. I resent having to know any of this information. But these motherfuckers are asking me to accept a new god. And I think I might as well take them at their word at the kingdom of hell they intend to create. I wanted to be a goddamn biologist.

Sometimes you just got to say "fuck it" and make a camper van out of an F650 super duty. Spotted in Chicago rush hour traffic.

Ran some clothes over to the Brown Elephant for donation. #biketoot

@Viss I was reading a bit of your AMA where you were talking about Incus and the various advantages over and differences from Docker. You at one point say, "Oh and my favorite - its security model doesnt force you to put super super sensitive keys and tokens in env vars. that is such a HORRIBLE SECURITY PRACTICE."

Anyways, thank you. That putting credentials/sensitive information into the runtime environment is the Docker way has always felt skeezy to me.

Imagine a perfectly spherical cow of uniform density delivered in two days...

Paged through a C book at the used bookstore today and found that the section talking about Make and Makefiles was 2 pages. I am still trying to find good reference materials on C/C++ build systems because it is an area where I am sorely lacking experience in.

who called it "senior developers" and not "old men yelling at claude"?

It seems that the bike shop YoJimbo's Garage is in limbo at the moment due to the sale of the building that has been the shop's home for decades. Stopped in for some chainring bolts seeing as two of mine decided they liked not being on the bike any longer and talked to Marcus, the shop's owner for a bit.

Hopefully the future has a spot for the shop.

Anyway, looks like it's over. I guess.

This ends a brief watch thread of Journey to the Center of Time.

"we may be the Adam and Eve of a brave new world"
Someone wrote that line and was really proud of it.

I guess we get to rewatch the movie we just watched, for some reason?
