For this specific case, pay attention if they happen more during your menstruation and make sure your doctor knows. There are specific treatment regimes that are highly effective for this specific sub case of migraines. (Being gender=F in my neurologist's system got me the full briefing on this)
This is also usually a lower side effect preventative treatment than the normal constant one.

modern medicine has decent treatments for most cases. PLEASE, talk to your general practitioner and usually they can at least deal with attack medication, else, get referred to a neurologist for preventative treatment.
Don't just take painkillers and hope for the best if this is happening more than 1-2 days per week. (Includes risk giving yourself a medication over use headache)

Remember to run your washing machine at 95C once per quarter, with the most aggressive white laundry powder detergent you can find. This to clean soap and other residue out mostly.
