Hello Fedi! My employer went through my #PostCovid time with me. Now that I'm back to work full time, they suddenly decided to let me go. 🤷‍♀️ I'm a #pentester with 5 years of experience in the field, before that 3 years of software dev in the #infosec field as well. Got a Bsc. in Computer Sience with emphasis on infosec and networke systems. In my #homelab I'm selfhosting on #proxmox and #k8s. I've been daily driving #linux for the past 20 years, first #gentoo, then #fedora. I'm pretty good with it, but no certs. I'm looking to continue in #offensivesecurity, but would be happy to pivot into infra/network or any other adventure given it's interessting or a good cause. Happy to invest in my skillset. Hybrid in north-eastern #Switzerland fully remote anywhere else.

I wear a #FFP2 #facemask when ever I am I'm in crowded places or medical facilities. Sometimes I'm asked why I wear a mask.

My standard answer is "because I want to". I'm way too polite to say "to protect myself from whatever you are currently happly spreading everywhere".

It's anecdotal data but the past 4 winters I've been sick way less frequently. #worksforme

lol, got kicked off the free WIFI at the airport because I've been downloading too many #39c3 talks from https://media.ccc.de/. Apparently "Free Wifi" means "Some free Wifi until we decide you had enough". 😁 It's just been about 2GB 😇

Abbau beim #ccc ist immer etwas wie bei Die unendliche Geschichte, wenn das Nichts anfängt die Welt zu verschlingen.

@pluralistic I just watched your excellent talk at #39c3. I worked as a volunteer guarding one of the doors. So, I did not have the chance to ask a question on the mics.

How do you suggest we deal with organisation that claim to work on behalf of the people but take bribes from the big tech monopolists like the Mozilla Foundation or the Linux Foundation? Is it worth poring the baby out with the bathwater? Ot should be just tolerate them being high on the #AI kool-waid until they come down agaih?

Cheers and thank you for the talk!

I just learned that chalk is actually layers upoh layers of dead #plancton 🤯 Writing on a blackboard is smearing millions of dead organisms against a wall 😳 I used to think that #rocks are boring, but the more I learn about #geology, the more fascinating it gets.

From #Zurich to #Vienna without having to stop to charge your #ev ? That's called a #train my friend! The irony is, that this photo was taken at Zurich main station. There are regular trains and overnight trains running from this very station to Vienna.

#youtube #algorithm is strange. I watched a few videos by some #trans creators and now YT seems to think I'm an #egg and bombards me with videos like "How you your #transgender " etc. I'm definitely not #cisgender , but I'm probably also not trans ...

Does youtube have a point? 🫠🤷

Aparently #microsoft patched a serious #vulnerability by creating a folder in the #windows root dir and telling users not to delete it. They won't or can't tell why. Another piece of evidence that MS actually has no clue any longer how their steaming heap of crap even actually works. We've arived in #warhammer40k. We now use
#technomancy to fix our #computers.
