Argh. This does the thing old media does that I hate, which is talk about a website without actually linking to the website. They credit an image to a domain that doesn't exist. This shouldn't get past an editor.

If you search for "KW Connected" you get a real estate site.

I mean... I probably should wipe my phone and install @GrapheneOS. Not sure I'm quite there yet, but the thought does cross my mind...

As a Canadian, my location data being sent to Saudi Arabia (as a result of the sale of #PokemonGo) or China (for whatever reason) seems like less of an immediate threat to me than it going to the United States.

Americans should probably feel similarly, but probably don't.

People keep asking why politicians and government agencies and media outlets keep using Twitter (or whatever) and Facebook (or whatever) and not Mastodon (and/or Bluesky).

The answer is very simple: enterprise social media platforms like Sprout Social (which my city uses) and Hootsuite don't support Mastodon (and/or Bluesky).

Gone are the residential towers and shopping concourse, but I guess the green space is nice.
