People who don't believe in evolution should read about #cancer. How over a few years it mutates to protect itself from your immune system and various drugs. It's literally evolution on a small scale that we can easily observe.

The birds emptied my tube feeder TWICE today! I'm thankful for the recent price drop on black oil sunflower seeds.

My backyard birds are HONGRY. They empty my feeders by lunchtime and I need to refill them.

I was just driving home and I saw the most awesomely brilliant orange sunset. I feel like it touched my soul and it made me glad that I'm still alive here on this Earth.

I just saw the first Fox Sparrow in my yard ever this morning! I was counting the Juncos on the ground when I spotted this smudgy brown and red-brown sparrow at the forest edge. #birding

I has insomnia last night, and didn't get a wink of sleep. I got a little unhinged and wrote this poem/song:

We must behave for the beehive
so we can save their little hides.

I want beavers, I want possums,
I aspire to be so awesome.
