The Trump administration has repeatedly said, in their cherry-picked list of food items where prices have gone down, that egg prices are down 90%. If egg prices had been, say, $5/dozen before the last election, then a 90% decrease in prices would mean eggs selling for $0.50/dozen today. This is complete and utter bullshit and no one is calling them on it because the administration has flooded the zone with bullshit.

Once Hitler gained power and ended democracy in Germany, stocks did really well. Germany's stock market outperformed the Dow right up until the Nazis grabbed all the money and ended stock trading. A LOT of investors love racism, and that remains true today across the West in particular.
