As much as it sucks to have someone profiting off of my work without doing shit, following the license isn't even hard! If they did that they could still do this immoral shit and it'd be legal. But they don't even bother doing that.

I tried forwarding the information to dmca-agent@, which is the email they provide in their takedown page, and it just told me to fill out the form again. Useless useless useless! This person is making $$$ while infringing on my copyright and Google dgaf.

I guess this does nothing then!

They're absolutely useless. I showed them evidence that isn't "side-by-side screenshots" and they're still pushing the button that gives the same stock response of "give us side-by-side screenshots". Do I know anyone at Google who can tell the removals@ team that they're useless?

Google's Play Store copyright takedown process seems to only work for visual content. Audio? Please take a screenshot. Code? Please take a screenshot. Absolutely clown show of a process. I would bet it doesn't comply with the DMCA as a result, but without a lawyer I have no idea what to do.

I guarantee you that 99.9% of Steam users have never bought a discrete sound card. I wouldn't be surprised if the number was 99.99% or more.

It's very funny that Steam games system requirements still list sound cards, a thing that hasn't been relevant in game system requirements since the very, very early days of Steam. Honestly, I'm not actually sure if it was still relevant when Steam first shipped.

I've come up with a complete list of good things I have to say about Omarchy:

"But you could write code so much faster!" I don't want to write code faster; I want to write code better. I'll stick with my "antiquated" ways.

My development environment is vim, a command line, and gdb. I don't even use an IDE. There is no chance I'll ever use an LLM.

Update: 104 and 105 created and deleted. I'll be collecting this info and sending an abuse report to GitHub shortly.

Update: 103 created and deleted. It was created by the same person as 96 so I guess he hasn't gotten banned yet.

Update: 99 created and deleted.

Update: 96 has been deleted.

He keeps deleting the issues calling him out and banning people who do so. He absolutely knows better. So far issues 20, 22, 94, and 95 have been deleted. 96 is still open but will probably be deleted soon. He knows what he's doing is bad but he just doesn't care. Typical AI bro behavior.

Ok since a bunch of people seem to be getting this I'm gonna actually call out Teodor/TeoSlayer. If you get that email, check the headers and report it to sendgrid. Make him regret it.

An extra fuck you to the guy who received the spam, showed up in the thread, and defended the spammer because it's "hard to get your projects noticed" and "sometimes people want to improve on what's out there", then asked me how I got started with mGBA and if similar projects already existed why did I start on it?

Did not like it when I refused to engage with his condescending reply on his terms and didn't even bother thinking about why I called it whataboutism.

"But you violated the code of conduct!" Don't care. I wasn't participating in the project. Sending me spam goes against my (and every reasonable person's) code of conduct.

Very cool how some AI bro decided to scrape a bunch of emails from PyPI, send spam pretending to be humble for his new project (with no unsubscribe link ofc) that does the same job as tmux+ssh, and then ban the people who got angry and him in a GitHub issue complaining about the spam.

Hope this fucker lost his sendgrid account.

My @starlabssystems laptop finally shipped!
