Ahmad Manasra was 13 yo when the Israeli occupation forces arrested him. They kept him in jail for a decade despite him having schizophrenia, severe depression and suicidal thoughts. They put him in solitary confinement.

THE ENOUGH MANIFESTO
Core Idea:
"Try Enough, because enough, is enough."
Principles:
1. Harmony > Growth: Cultivate "enough" as a radical alternative to predatory systems.
2. Slow Tech: Federated, local, low-energy digital spaces. Let Big Tech crumble from disuse.
3. Brave Experiments: Small actions (unsubscribing, repairing, sharing) as cultural seeds.

In Seeing Like a State, James Scott suggests "legibility"—the ability to understand the systems states govern over—is a problem because it leads the state to want to oversimplify complex systems, to make them easier to manage.
What's happening here isn't that. It's that the state is actually _illiterate_. It can't read any of what's going on, and it doesn't want to. In fact, it'd rather do literally anything than learn to read. Governing is not what this state is here to do.
