So... the actual story reported here is that the administration set up a dedicated task force to document EU censorship and THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY. Not that you'd know that from the headline. www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2...

And this was *years*after reporters who had run breathless stories about tech companies’ press releases realized they’d been had and started doing techlash instead. Which makes it even weirder.

It’s too bad that I genuinely didn’t work on the Stanford project Sen. Schmitt is mad about, or I would have remembered to point out that it took place in 2020. Trump was president. No one at Stanford could have been acting at the direction of the Biden administration.

Actually, now that I think about it, every example I can recall involved me standing up for pretty benign and IMO obvious free expression principles.

It did get a little spicy around 1:26. I’ve been yelled at by more talented yellers than Senator Schmitt, though.
