Finally demo’d the Vision Pro today. Overall it was great. After reading so many reviews that set my expectations I’d say -

- 3D content like immersive movies and spatial videos EXCEEDED my expectations

- Eye tracking and finger tapping EXCEEDED

- Passthrough video UNDERWHELMED. Maybe the fit wasn’t right? I expected it to be clearer.

One UNEXPECTED takeaway - I want to buy an iPhone 15 Pro and start taking spatial videos immediately.

I’m curious what you think of this app idea @matt

Any interest in something like this? @Jonathanglick

I’d like to gauge interest in a new app I’m thinking about building.

It’s an audio player for Mastodon. The idea is that it would filter your feed for audio posts - podcasts, audio uploads, Spotify/Apple Music/SoundCloud links and then let you tap play and listen to them all.

Please vote below and please boost this!

Has Apple Music removed the ability to sort albums by recently added? That’s mostly how I listen to music.

BOOM! Just submitted @deek for 1.0 review. It’s amazing how I still get nervous every time I launch a new app.

Why is Mastodon like this? Is it bc my server isn’t federated w the poster’s server? Or is it just a bug?

The website shows a very different number of boosts and stars than Ivory shows.

Err, I think we’ve reached peak hard seltzer.

135 new features. 280 bug fixes. Today we release Safari 16.4

Is there a way to filter out a user in @ivory? I have a filter set up with words to avoid toots about the Knicks game (I’m DVRing) but I want to also remove any toots from @nyknicks

@paul

Trying an experiment here.

I’m building a social network for voice. Here’s how it works - every day the community chooses a new question and then everyone uploads their answers. It’s a fun, authentic way to hear different perspectives.

Tagging a few ppl here that I think might be interested in it.

Come join us and tag some ppl you think will also enjoy it.

Actually just @ me lol. Not even sure how to DM here or if I need to allow it from non followers

I’m sending this into the void since only 2 ppl follow me here (and 1 of them is my app) but if you have an iPhone and want to beta test a new app I’m building, DM me!

My first post!
