IMO, this is one of the greatest friction to live w/ on fedi. Probably worth an eternal ELI5 notice somewhere. That first leap of faith becomes an integral part to building interactions and is required much earlier in a counterintuitive way

Anyone know how to get rid of this error with #phanpy bookmarks? Mine is displaying this error, but I can’t figure out what’s wrong with it. I also have very few posts bookmarked

Always do your maths. The card should fit your lifestyle (easily), not the other way round. I see many YouTubers commending the revamped reward structure. Anyone that does not highlight the 3% transaction fee is less than candid.

Minutes before breaking my nail

Going through strats and finalising roster. An ex-officer tried to coerce me into accepting a subpar player who has improved but not by much. Irksome, but I'll still try to make a fair decision over the weekend.

This time round, we lost active Officers who helped with logistics throughout the past two expansions, so there's work to be done there, too. Guild bank is dismal. We also need more crafters.

On our way home, we saw a family-owned sushi shop called Shibucho that seems to make omakase sushi. An old man parked his pickup truck nearby. The chef came out to greet him, then together, from a black tank, they lugged a bluefin (?) into the shop.

At treasure island today when the sun came out and lights up all the waves at once. Took a few photos but none did it justice.

I think … the part in me that is echoing hard is losing physical proximity to some very good friends, which is a new surprise. As TCK, I didn’t know this was possible. I haven’t found a similar bunch here yet. My WoW guild has actually been fairly good support, but I don’t want to lean on it too much. I also miss making friends, which is ironic as that’s what I’ve been doing these past months. (Yep, losing sleep over this…)

One of my little hopes was to take Cori to a physical Claire’s. We did that today. Turns out she only wanted to look but not buy much. It just didn’t click with her that much. Either way, one item checked off the list.

It seems so obvious now, but TIL venus flytrap isn’t going to help us catch that drosophila. We are supposed to catch that drosophila and feed to venus flytrap.

I got myself a pet.

I will name this pet VC.

Finally got this at Trader Joe’s. When we went by last week, it was out of stock. We are getting this in hope to catch one drosophila that has eluded us for the past two weeks.
