I don't particularly need CWs myself. Nor disabled parking spaces, curb cuts, regular benches along footpaths, prayer rooms, low sensory hours, breastfeeding rooms.
But I still understand their importance. In part because I've lived on military bases, environments which specifically exclude these kinds of things and are overall more toxic for it. Their absence is felt throughout the culture. To be uncaring and uncared for on a systemic level is essential to the military mindset. One cannot be manipulated into doing what an ADF member must do, for so little reward, without the artificial backdrop of an utterly uncaring society.
