This billboard went up in San Francisco three weeks ago too

…is “Silicon Valley” coming back? Fantastic news if so. Really enjoying these little stealth marketing sites they’re putting out.

Well look what's arrived overnight.

I wonder who they’ll get to play the Keanu Reeves role

Woke up to the dreadful news that Teenage Engineering are going to cease synth production:

I’ve been putting off getting a EP–133 K.O. II for years despite loving the little Pocket Operator I own. Guess it’s now or never.

The ripoff bedside TV in my wife’s hospital room has a big TV CONDEMNED sticker on it.

Unlike other erroring out screens you see nowadays that show a Windows or Android error, this one’s showing a good old fashioned DOS prompt. Retro!

Dan is so tall that on more than one occasion I've been with him when we've walked into a room and someone has turned around, seen him, and immediately said “WOAH you're tall”

🏥 Back at the hospital today. Wife has her own room and is a lot better within herself, even though she has to be wary of other infectious diseases. Slow improvement.

AMAZING FACT FOR UK MASTODON FOLKS:

Go get a bag of crisps and look at the expiry date. It’s about 95% likely that day is a Saturday.

NO-ONE KNOWS WHY.

Why do crisps miraculously go stale on Saturdays???

🏥 Wife is currently poorly. This has been the past few days:

Thursday: GP
Friday: hospital
Saturday: hospital dropoff
Sunday: hospital, then a call to go back to hospital at 10:30pm
Monday: hospital

Really wish I had a stamp card. We’re definitely due a freebie.

Well the highlight of my day has been acting as a taxi service for a stool sample how is your weekend going?

(This week has been a killer)

Pretended that it’s 2010/2011 by listening to these four albums while reluctantly doing gardening this morning.

I really disliked ‘The Suburbs’ at the time. It’s still an unfocused rambling mess of a record but it had ‘Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)’ at the end so it earns its keep.

Olivia Rodrigo’s backing band introducing themselves onstage:

@hl Mentioned last week, drove past it this morning and remembered to share: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Headington_Shark

📆 Today: a lot of quick movement between doctor’s appointments, solicitor appointments, and client appointments. Hoping for a tea at some point.

...Spooky Tooth?

This account now exclusively posts content from the Katamari Object Library.

Spend half an hour on Mastodon and you'll see at least three people with avatars that look like this.

Just posted this gif of a gangster car from Katamari Damacy to my website and I’m posting it here too because I love this silly thing.

Today's Good Fun Website: https://destroy.spritefusion.com

You can use this to destroy any website. You can even make multiplayer rooms to destroy a website together! Involves silly weapons if that’s a concern but it mostly reminds me of Worms-style gaming.

Please see the example screenshot attached in which I jumped around @hl's website and destroyed it quite mercilessly.
