I don't have a bird feeder but I leave flower seedheads on the stalks and in the past three minutes that I've been standing at the window I've seen American redstarts, sparrows, cardinals, blue jays, tufted titmice, goldfinches, and a gray squirrel. (No pictures because they're all zippy little buggers who won't pose.)

Well, it took 2 weeks to get caught not checking emails - it seems attendance rosters were supposed to be submitted yesterday. Oops.

I'll get around to it tonight maybe. If they want someone who acts like a professional, they have to pay the professional salary. Otherwise they get someone who acts like the dregs.

This is kind of a strange question but can you take the battery out of a device and still use plugged in to a power source? Like the tablet I'm on right now will crash if I try to run it battery-only. Could I just take the battery out and run it plugged in (it's plugged in right now).

Cripes. It's 7:20pm and the lawn service the neighbors use is just starting on mowing. These poor guys (and I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're all from Central America) probably started at 7am and they are still working.
