The new bike is almost ready. It needs minor adjustments, and one big one: I don't have the right tool for the brake disc lockrings I have.
This is one of the fun ways the bike industry resembles the tech industry: standards are only standard in name.
My lockrings are externally splined, which is for a tool that has 16 notches at 44mm diameter. I thought I bought internally splined rings — those for use with a cassette tool, which has 12 splines and is much smaller.
Dammit.

It's not a good bike but it has a comfortableness to it. Terrible for hills, but not so bad on the flats. You'd want new tubes and tyres, these are ancient even if they do still hold air and have tread.
No warranty, obviously, get any new-to-you bike checked out before riding, etc etc etc. It's free and entirely at your own risk.
