it's very weird to see, say, library people who are familiar with AI stuff picking up on MCPs as a Big Thing when MCPs have already sort of fallen out of favour due to token overuse and complexity. When I first moved here in 2007 I went to a wing place that had an array of spicy wings, the spiciest of which was called something like "Certain Death Nuclear Devastation Bowel Ruining Wings" and said you'd win something if you ate them.
