Do I like Starmer? No
Am I sad he's going? No
However, this party infighting and personal politics of vying for leadership instead of governing is exactly what the Conservatives were doing, and I complained about it then, it's not somehow better because it's Labour doing it or because Burnham (who really doesn't seem much better than Starmer except being a bit less greasy) is your new fave.
Since Corbyn, maybe even since Blair, the PLP has been consistently shit at *doing* anything as a cohesive group, possibly because they are so divorced from what the Labour membership actually wants. They got in because the conservatives were absolutely shite not because they actually ever had a cohesive plan or anything and it pains me to see a lot of leftists still touting then as the lesser evil when they aren't even pretending to be that anymore.
