#Venleitche needs playtesting - I've tried several times to get a group together, and you know how hard it is to get a group together for a published game, try doing it for playtesting - but the system is complete. There's a demo scenario with pregen characters. The manual needs art, which takes cash, but it also needs the equipment section finished, which is pending playtest so I don't have to rewrite item stats if the system changes.

#TTRPG Opportunity:
I have four one-shot adventures, playtested GenCon demos, set in a steampunk alt-history game world, table ready with pregen character sheets and digital props. Why is the opening of "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" so good, and the rest of the movie so bad?

Searching online for anything these days is an exercise in frustration. The books I have are years out of date. I just moved and barely know anybody local whom I could consult. I'm going to have to ask a question here that I may get called out for, but I tried doing the work myself first.

"White" is a racist construct, and I am seriously tired of having to call myself that. What is a non-racist term for a low-melanin person in the USA of European descent? "Euro-American" is right out, I don't want to call myself American either. I've been checking the "Other" box and writing in "Human", which is accurate enough, I suppose.

Hate Aetna. They demanded I be moved to a 15mg Meloxicam once a day from the 7.5 twice a day I was taking because of cost. My primary care physician wimped out, decided not to fight the insurance company overriding her judgment, and fobbed me off with concern about a stomach upset symptom I had not experienced in multiple years of taking the med. Now my pain meds wear off during the night and I am fucking exhausted. Not CWing this because people need to know about American insurance companies abusing the people they're supposed to be supporting.

Boo to Ireland for demanding I either enable DRM in my browser (fuck you no) or use the RTE Player app on my tablet to watch Eurosong. Everybody else is streaming with no DRM off their national TV sites (Malta, Lithuania, Latvia all watched recently), but no, you have to be all capitalist about your music and fail to understand that it's a tourist and arts advertisement. I mean, I'm streaming Roots of Pacha because for two hours, I get to be a successful farmer who's well liked by the community, in a reasonable culture of supportive people. If I get viewers wanting to watch me harvesting veg and breeding chickens, cool. If not, I'm still a successful farmer etc. I'd love to share the game, it's amazingly well written, lots of positive queer content, beautifully animated, and understands the impact that agriculture had on human history, but I don't like being chased to do so.

Huh. Youtube tells you when you lose subscribers. All of these platforms are negging me about viewer count, trying to monetize my work. It's annoying and takes some of the joy out of streaming.

If you try to murderhobo in Venleitche, you will lose your Connections, probably in a single session, and the GM will take your character sheet and turn it into a monster stat block.

Niantic needs to actually market this jacket.

It's only my second year doing the #Eurovision nationals, but I'm already convinced that the best music is in the nationals, and gets left behind for stuff that people hope will be popular in the mass market.

We're finally into a second musical number for #Montesong, but have yet to see a competitor, and we're 26 minutes in. This is getting dreary.

Thus far #Montesong has all been self congratulatory BS. Quit patting yourself on the back for getting back into #Eurovision and actually get on with getting back into Eurovision. Play some damn music already.
