I mentioned to my therapist today that autistics are often disbelieved and mistrusted by NTs. She was surprised by this, considering that not liking to lie is, itself, a common autie trait. I seem to recall seeing other people express this sentiment, but it made me wonder if this is more of just a me thing rather than an Autistic thing. I'm also curious about age demographic breakdowns as younger auties will have grown up in a world that's had more exposure to us.

Someone should do a movie where Michael Cena and Michael Cera (playing versions of themselves) are each repeatedly and inexplicably mistaken for the other throughout the movie by numerous different people. AliExpress has just started including "AI Overview" sections on product pages, then have the gall to include a disclaimer that their bullshit machine produces bullshit "and does not represent the merchants opinion." And then go on to say that they "assume no related legal liability," which doesn't mean that they aren't legally liable, because, of course, they are.

What's the point of a product description that can't be relied on? I'd prefer no description at all.

The reason war crimes are so heinous is that war is already an extremely lawless situation (you're literally allowed to kill people without repercussions, it's kinda the whole point), yet you still managed to break the very, very few rules that have been agreed upon by nearly every country in the world.
