but it *is* also a very good distillation of the games into a movie form, albeit with a character not really like one that's appeared in the games. mostly the "puzzles" just confuse or frustrate him, which… relatable, man.

saw a REALLY bad head injury on my way home tonight. group of young 20-something guys gathered around their friend who had taken a spill and hit the back of his head (possibly on the curb). unconscious, lots of blood (but then, head wounds always will surprise you). Pretty early in the evening (7:30 PM maybe?), but young people drink themselves silly pretty early in the evening here.
they were already on the phone with emergency services, not really anything I could have done for them other than confirm they were bringing in the professionals.
