Even here on Mastodon, #reciprocal #interaction has declined to near zero. I post thoughts and pictures of my art a lot and reply to posts of others to try to engage in dialogue.

Seems that anything effortful online is now subject to atrophy.

Chasms between people online and even more so when walking in public.

Chilling times where challenging someone walking into me without looking where they are going solicits at best a reflex, vacuous sorry ...

As someone with #Autism, I find the term #NeuroDivergent to be simplistically judgemental.

What is being deviated from? A trait or whole nature of autistic and non-autistic people?

And what of divergence along other dimensions? How about extroverts as divergent as they cannot tolerate time alone very well.

Lady at farmer market sells mushroom based products. Said I would create a little design for her. About 2 inches across. Less than 10 minutes to do.

#Offside measurement misses the entire point of being offside.

It is to stop 'goal hanging'. Where a player has a clear advantage nearer the keeper.

A line across the pitch bears no relationship with the proximity of the goal!!! An elongated arc is needed - a player 2 mm closer to the touch line but out on the wing is MUCH further away from the goal than last defender.

Advantage needs to be at least via a clear meaningful advantage.

Weighs 20 pounds - a #clay monster rather crudely finished. 3 rhino heads and tails that do not quite look right.

Talked to another #stranger today. He was watching his teenage children play tennis. An Iranian family.

I discover that he had met Andre #Agassi in the past. Who was, now I learned, born in #Iran.

Another game of #Go where the player was so driven to play fast that the essential reading of variations in Go was completely absent.

Like playing a manic zombie.

And this is now common place.

It has driven away most of the slow players online.

The perceived and pathologically driven 'need' for #Instantgratification now destroying quality of life in too many domains.

A drive largely created by ad-pumping greedy corporations.

Have been informed that my #Phanpy account needs verification. A new thing to me - I certainly did not seek to create such an account.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Real soon please - the world needs him out.

In spite of dull weather on the day I took this photo, I went ahead. #flower #photography was an obsession for 2 years thanks to superb colour rendering of my #Panasonic #FZ1000 camera.

Over a 3 year period as a background #woodworking task a few decades ago now, I made this 104 #drawer #cabinet - with 18 of the drawers hidden in the central section. I specifically wanted to employ a range of colours - far too much cabinetry is mono-coloured.
