I can’t remember when Apple introduced the new emoji types, see the lion & skull, 3 or 4 years ago maybe? Anyway I tried them both once in a message I never sent to see what they were about, shrugged then deleted the test message.

Anyway, they’ve never left the ‘recently used’ part of the emoji playlist since.

Funny how such a simple glitch reminds me daily of Apple’s very own enshittification. #iOS

Cycled over to my friend’s bookshop in the next village for an ‘In Converstion with’ artist Mollie Douthit and author Sara Baume for a launch of ‘Opening Night’ by Sara.

The book centres around the author & artist meeting and the contours of that friendship.

Not for the first time, from somewhere a butterfly fluttered by, heading towards the shore. For what seems an impossible adventure.

A few more of the recent tourer bikes about the place in time for World Bike Day.

The couple with the first two bikes had made it down from Belfast and were on the way back up along the west coast. They’ve fierce headwinds all day today but they got in a good feed before tonights destination.

A few more from yesterday spent with the dolphins.

We were out for 5 hours on a ~10km round trip, most of spent amongst this pod which included a couple of juveniles.

At one point off in the distance we both saw a whale breach, either that ir a meteor crashing down, the splash was that big. 🐋💦
