I appreciate developers who take time to solve problems. I had just purchased Leasey. I do a lot of proofing of other court reporters' work and sometimes they send me stuff in Rtf. microsoft Word does okay with this, but I'm just not really fond of Word. I was excited to use Leasey Word but it was treating a question marker by itself as a line so it would say the letter Q and then the question would be on the next line. It's supposed to be the same line. I contacted Brian Hartgen less than 12 hours ago, and a Leasey update has already been created to solve it. It works great now.

I despiffa Non 24. I got tired early fell asleep for half the night then was awake. I barely got another one and a half hours of sleep before I have an eight-hour job. And I can't zone out on my job or work slower if I want to. I already want to go back to bed. I had coffee but I'm too tired.

I just signed up for a Zoom phone plan. Yes, I have my cell phone, but sometimes I have to do phone depositions. I tried using Google Voice, but they kept wanting my ID which I would upload and they keep saying something went wrong. i need an easy dial keypad which is not easy on the phone because I can't arrow left and right with my Braille display to get to the next number quickly, as I'm no good with the touchscreen. I already had Zoom Pro. So I just got a number. The keypad is nice, laid out just like a phone keypad so I can arrow from 5 and immediately reach 8. A lot of these things time out if you don't punch in your numbers right away.

So here's what I've learned about Windows 11. You can make it play nice, but there are so many "helpful" things you must turn off or settings they have that suck ass, like suspend your ports after inactivity or all the search widgets in your face or all the warnings about most of the files you download not being safe. Or the snap to windows being turned on, which fucked up my work software. And I had to change where file explorer opened because that sucked. Now if I can just figure out why my email is barking when I send a message. I know the guy who set up my computer likes sounds, but I am not a dog person and do not want to hear a dog bark every time I send an email. I don't hate dogs, but we have neighbors with barking dogs. I do not need more.

Shit! Cit Shit! My computer, which has worked flawlessly for six years, will not power up. It is a powerful computer with no real issues, a few quirky ports. I was trying to get a flash drive into the port, And my speech cut off. I ended up trying everything and having to force restart. Well, it started coming on and shutting off, I would turn it on it would start but then shut off. Now it just does not turn on. Damn it! I had two work files that I had yet to not back up to the cloud because I had just worked on them. i pray that even if the computer is bonkers the hard drive isn't. The last time I had a hard drive issue, it made a lot of noise. I did not hear that.

Not one person from my birth or growing up family called me today. I guess my brother and stepfather no longer feel obligated now that Mom is gone. Whatever, I guess. And my husband, I love him, but he doesn't celebrate much. He's his always wonderful self. It's not that there's anything I want. I just feel blah.

Please boost. for blind guitar friends which capos do you find easiest to operate? and prefer they don't constantly throw what is a stable electric out of tune.

has anyone else who ordered the Evolve and started getting them in the past few weeks actually liked it and keeping one?

Just purchased a mini Pc with 96 gb ram and 2 tb hard drive and not a huge wall outlet could run for a short while on a lower power station which would be nice. It will be half the price of my evolve. may not be ideal for someone who travels a lot, but for me it works.

Getting myself a mini pc any you would recommend that don't stutter. What are you happy with? Please boost. I need it for heavy-duty office and dictation, must be Ai compatible, must have at least 64 gb of ram, must not be littered with bloatware. Prefer something less than six pounds. Please boost. i will be finding myself a different option for a semi-portalble screenless options. I already carry my Brailliant everywhere for my phone, and I have a Monarch. I do not need a toy, which is what the Evolve is to a power user.

well this is serious! On Braille Note Evolve when moving through things quickly Braille stays stuck in one place while speech trucks along. I rwhy want to like this thing but I just want to cry.

getting Jaws going Is going to be a nightmare. I know they have the link to install it but I hope I then don't have to go into browse mode. I've never come to terms with that. I need to watch some more videos or play more with NVDA Coach or something.

Psa. If you are blind and trying to play guitar, remember to use your very tip of fingers, having nails extremely short. Think of dancing on your fingertips. This will prevent mistakenly getting nasty calluses on the pads with which you read Braille. I was doing it wrong the first time I tried years ago. Maybe for all I know it's because I'm on my lap not squeezing the neck. My fingers feel tingly but not painful.

Will I be one of the first evolves sent out? I paid but they between 15th and 30th. I paid the exact day that the email came out. Hopefully I was of the first to pay so it will come sooner. I'm a little concerned because some things in Getting Started Guide says refer to User Guide. I don't see one up there though.

Please boost if you feel inclined. I need some ideas about a guitar if any of you are or know guitarists. I bought a beautiful Guild Starfire I Dc. I swear I bought the right-hand version but now my order clearly says left-hand. So I put the guitar on my lap on a couch, imagine the neck is putting to the left into the open area. On the right side is the place where you pick and the knobs on such. I hear on a right-hand guitar in this position that the low strings would be toward me. I can tell you that to me it feels far more natural to strum toward me toward thehigh. So what would change for more
with a right-hand guitar seated in this position? Just the orientation and the strings and the knobs? i dworry that my arm will bump the knob as it does rest close to there. Is there a way if I bought a right-handguitar to switch strings around or a way to keep this guitar but move knobs? I really like the guitar. Even when its 11 strings it's nowhere near as hard as an acoustic. And it actually has decent volume when unlugged. i already love it and want to keep it, but let's just say people in guitar communities are treating me as if I'm stupid. I really don't appreciate it. If I want to play on my hand Iw. If I want the low strings away from me I will. As a smart guitar teacher in a Youtube video pointed out, he said, here's how I hold my guitar, but you may do something different and that's okay. I tried to hold with thestrings at are low close to me and hated it. But I just worry about hitting a volume knob with my arm anddestroying my ears. Thoughts?
