#Silent Sunday

I saw a Great Lake I had been to before. It was Eriely familiar.

When this popped up on the screen in my scanning software, I literally said “wowwowwow!”

First Concert: Lou Reed
Best Concert: Peter Gabriel by a mile
Last Concert: Joe Jackson

This leaves out so much, like the quasi-spiritual experience of Burning Spear 3 nights in a row, or Los Lobos at their peak.

Lo AND behold? In this economy?!

If you pick up something that’s too hot, saying “hothothothot” is proven to be therapeutic.

There’s 2 TVs at opposite ends of the locker room at my gym, playing the same broadcast, but the audio has been about 50 ms delayed on one of them for the last few weeks, creating a stereo effect if you pick a locker in the middle. Today it’s more like 100 ms and is kinda disorienting.

The upshot of all the Sheeran/Macklemore brouhaha is that I realized I had never heard any Ed Sheeran music and decided to go to YouTube and see if there was any redeeming qualities beneath the shitty political positions, and man, what a mistake!

Dreck, pablum, regurgitated, formulaic, computerized drivel. YouTube of course serves up ads before they play the song, and I genuinely couldn’t tell if it was still playing an ad or a song at one point. Any one of his so-called songs, and I’m complimenting them by considering them music, could have easily been a pharmaceutical or pickup truck commercial.

Awful, awful stuff. He needs to be cancelled on artistic merit alone, all the other appalling news aside. I’d sooner hear Tony Orlando and Dawn sing Tie A Yellow Ribbon twice before hearing another 10 seconds of his garbage.

Good riddance. 🤮

Hey y’all, I’m fixing to take this lady down to funkytown. She asked real nice. Will probably stop for pancakes on the way back. Anybody wanna ride with?

But seriously. I know we’ve gone over this recently but who in the hell eats 2 Oreo cookies and just… puts the bag away?

It took superhuman effort for me to stop at 4 just now, and technically, I can no longer eat dinner and stay on my diet.

Oreo cookies, only 140 calories per serving!*

A poem

The Problem
The Problem Is.
The Problem is girls.
The Problem is girls aren’t pregnant.
The Problem is CHILDREN ARENT HAVING CHILDREN.
No
The Problem is
You.

Do you know how much I love my wife? I have allowed text notifications with sound for her. If that’s not love I don’t know what is.

We have an important update- I have just been handed this:

Tofu is in fact holding 7 toys, which is a world record.

In other happenings, we received word from our Colorado news desk that Tofu has all the toys.
