All a pipeline does is make exports easier, more profit for oil&gas… it doesn’t help Canadians dealing with energy insecurity.
Good reminder as folks are trying to get through hot weather: the most effective way to ventilate a home for over-night cooling is to open all windows and place a fan at least 50cm (18”) away from one window blowing *out*.
Amazed that someone somehow managed to have enough momentum to cause this at this location. I don’t know any details about the circumstances, but really this isn’t just a ‘woopsie’ … you’ve to be trying hard for this to be the outcome.
I have noticed an unusual prevalence of aggressive drivers in souped up cars this spring, stunting, speeding, racing, weaving, and otherwise putting people at great risk.
I really have no patience for this kind of anti-social behaviour.

Just within my own direct knowledge I count half a dozen young people currently engaged in ongoing conflict with their parents over their ‘choices’ and ‘lack of <insert handy label here>’ while they struggle with real disability, bc it is complex, appears inconsistent, and is multi-modal. Compounded by a society that thinks Covid ended ages ago and hasn’t the foggiest idea what long-Covid actually entails and a medical system that mostly has little to offer them except blame.
