Be the light you want to see in the world.
It's time to revolt against those who want to destroy the planet.

Which do you think is the best #GG?

Gambling *will* be bad for your wealth. And probably your health too,

Ah ... that's helping (not). @revk's ntp box doesn't respong to a ping so its presence wasn't being confirmed util I tried a port 80 call.
.. and then it does.
My local network today has been messing with my mind.
Assuming I have one ...

I'm getting fed up of all the attacks on the RNLI so just gave them a decently large sum of money. They absolutely deserve it.

... and the rest of the world being able to see daily how trapped you are.

My favourite Muppet story.

Israel won't stop committing war crimes and ethnic cleansing (as verified by UK Government) until the USA stops funding it's abhorrent behaviour. This is not about religion, this is about dangerous violence and deep injustice.

#ScribesAndMakers ~ If e-books stopped being produced, how much would you miss them?

Not. At. All.

Books are physical objects, marks on sheets of paper bound into folios with covers. I can use multiple physical bookmarks for direct access, put it down without notice or additional action, read it at any time of my choosing. And not need to replace batteries or charge it. Reflected light off pages is nicer to my eyes than staring at a light source too.

Because if the UK Government don't stay friendly with that of the USA it will demonstrate the lie that the UK has control of its own nuclear weapons. Trident - and Polaris before it - are American weapons based in the UK at the expense of the UK.
aka a total waste of money.

When I was Head of Technology at Capital Radio Interactive we were doing a major equipment upgrade but also needed to increase our bandwidth to the colo and the Leicester Square office. I've just refound the list of quotes se received. I suspect this will shock some people here!

The UK government doesn't care about me. Everyone else seems to be talking about an emergency alert. I got nothing.

All so predictable, but great to see Count Binface saved his deposit for the first time! Let's see what happens in the next by-election here.https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/aug/14/nigel-farage-wins-clacton-byelection-count-binface-boycotted-major-parties

Given his whining about an old XTC song does Farage believe he's the only 'Nigel' alive, because there's nothing about the t-shirt to link it to him.

Now caffeinating at level three. (Not the backbone company!)

Realising that you really shouldn't be somewhere rather sucks. I *know* that I've become quite a non-social person, feeling lost too often, but still I booked a ticket and came to #EMFfamp. I'm just really wishing I hadn't right now. I feel massively outside any sort of comfort zone.
Leaving is not an option (location, disruption, etc) so here until Monday. Maybe things (ie 'me') might improve....

Oh, and tablet connects to a different wifi network no problem.

I'm going (ha!) mad.
A laptop and a tablet are Both connected to the same network on the same 4G router.

Laptop is communicating fine, the tablet connects only as far as the router and states "without internet".

WTF is going on? I tried a 'forget network' on the tablet to reset the link but no difference. There are no blacklists or whitelist operating on the router. and both show on the router as connected.
This is, obviously, very annoying given #EMFcamp from Thursday.

Ideas welcomed!
