Best cockpit announcement yet.

After a long taxi: "Well Folks, we've driven about as far as we can. We're going to have to fly the rest of the way. Flight attendants, please take your seats."

So tired of shows that make their night episodes so dark that you can't see what is going on. Look, if you don't want me to see your show, just say so, or better yet, don't make it. I am just starting to give up and move on or stop watching. It is just not worth the frustration.

Normally I am not a Lego person and don't own any pieces. Even when the Star Trek Enterprise came out, I thought it was cool, but I don't really want an 8-bit pixel Enterprise. But this? THIS!!!!!!

I have been following Dianna Cowern (Physics Girl) since before she got long COVID three years ago. She has made her first new video in three years. She is still recovering, but this is awesome!

A view of the Auroras tonight from Colorado. Not bad considering all the light pollution.

"Why should I wear my seatbelt until the sign goes off? We already landed safely!"

THIS! This is why you wear your seatbelt until you are parked at the gate! (Some collisions have even happened to planes at the gate)

#introduction:
I am Rob, and I have been writing #software for so long, some of my first languages had names with all capital letters. Now I write in many languages, including #embeddedsystems and #fpga.

A couple of decades ago I took #flying lessons, and eventually became a #flightinstructor, so I could pass on my obsession. Sadly, I don't fly much right now.

I play #bassguitar for fun, mostly classic #rock, #metal, and #classicrock and have even played in a few local bands.
