Hey Fedi friends! I promised you #NewMusic didn't I!

Presenting not one, not two, but all THREE versions of TDNSLAT :party_parrot:

Happy Friday y'all 💜

Decent showing last night! Ended up going an extra hour because the place was packed 😊

Special shout out to the dude who thought it was reasonable to ask if he could plug in his phone to play his friend's song 😅

Oh are they making iphones with balanced TRS outputs now? 😂

Today's the day! Choose Your Own Connections, the new EP from @skysonix and I, is out everywhere! 🥳

This album exists thanks to the Fediverse. Of all the collab projects I've started it's the only one that's come to fruition.

I think that speaks volumes about my writing partner & the kinds of connections you make here (hence the title 😊)

Enjoy! Also - release party on Twitch tonight! 5pm UTC!

I think the #Fedivision website is struggling with all the traffic right now!

#80sMusicTaughtMe you can never put too much reverb on a snare drum

Finally finished all my adulting for today, so now it's time to relax and get ready for the #Fedivision grand finale!

Oye beltalowda!

I see we've had an influx of refugees to the #Fediverse recently, Earth and Mars back at it again?

If you're brand new - welcome! You should know we've got a little song contest going on called #Fedivision, and you're just in time to vote before it ends tomorrow!

I'm representing the Belt with a fresh new tune straight off of Ceres Station. ☄️

All the entries and details on how to vote are here 👇

Sorry about the abrupt end to the stream - been having Internet struggles all week 😕

I think it's so hot my router is protesting! But good to see everyone as always!

It's Saturday so you know what that means - time for another studio session!

I'll be live shortly (12pm BST) working on some tunes in #Ableton - come by and say hi!

Hey fedi friends - I've got some new music for you!

This is probably the closest I've ever come to #EDM, but it's still got that #glitch / #IDM soul.

Hope you enjoy! 💜

Oye beltalowda!

Proud to be representing The Belt in #Fedivision2023 with a fresh track straight off Ceres Station! (Last track in the playlist)

When it comes time to vote, remember the Cant beratnas!

(Any subsequent snark directed at all these earthers and dusters in the competition is 100% for the lols, you all did a brilliant job 💜)

It's finally ready! I'm so excited to be able to share my new EP 😊

After losing my four-legged best friend last month, I dove headfirst into songwriting and this is the result.

Come with me on a journey of joy and celebration for the brief moments that our stars collide 💜

Even more context because I'm feeling nostalgic:

These tracks were all recorded on McKee Pl in Pittsburgh, around 2007/8. The last track was actually the capstone project for a digital production class at Pitt (I wonder if they're still using Digital Performer, god that software sucked 😂).

The creek sample in that track was recorded in Schenley Park, I remember crouching over the stream holding my old Macbook upside down to record it on the shitty internal speaker 😅

Those were the days 💜

A little more context:

These are all tracks I wrote when I was still in college, so at least 15 (!) years ago now.

Found them on an old hard drive when I was backing up some files, and decided some of them were worth giving a remaster since I had the Wave files. Hope you enjoy! 💜

You awaken gently on your couch. The golden light conceals the hour.

'How long was I asleep for?'

Something is digging into your side. You roll over to find an old cassette you've never seen before.

'Where did this come from?'

You sit up, your old boombox is there on the coffee table.

'How the hell...'

Suddenly, it turns on. The tape deck pops open. You look back at the cassette. On the label it says:

PLAY ME.

Hi everyone! I've been here a week now and I'm only sad I didn't join sooner, so it's time for an #introduction.

My name's Cam and I'm originally from Washington, DC. Now living in London. I'm an environmental policy expert by trade, I've worked on everything from land #conservation to #RenewableEnergy.

I love #ElectronicMusic, the #environment, #snowboarding, #space, #scifi, #politics, #MechanicalKeyboards, #gaming, #solar, and all sorts of other nerdy things.

Happy to be here!
