Every time Anthropic or another AI corp comes out with a wild "AI will DEFINITELY kill us all soon! Give us more money!" I laugh my ass off. Imagine if other businesses courted investment that way.

"All-clad pots have a greater than 10% chance of destroying humanity in the next ten years."

"Nestle reported today that a water bottling plant went rogue and bottled an extra 2.5 million gallons of water. Engineers say 'It's too powerful, we can't contain it!'."

"You're gonna get left behind if you don't use it. Wrigley's Big League Chew is the future."

The world needs more mysteries. Get out there and do some ambiguous shit. Don't explain yourself. Confuse the fuck out of people.

I think I should be allowed to bite people.

Wild to think the biggest mis-prediction of Cyberpunk was that the technology would actually work.

Trump says he's gonna give "a really long" speech on the 4th despite the heat

and I cannot express how funny it would be if Trump talked himself to a heatstroke death in 100f+ weather on the 4th of July.

It would be an amazing gift. That would be his legacy, the President That Talked Himself To Death On A Hot Day. He'd be like William Henry Harrison, that'd be his legacy.

agh hell it's sunday and I forgot about #MONSTERDON the weekly monster movie watch party! Tonight at 9pm (that's 1am UTC) come watch a goofy monster movie with us! C'mon it'll be fun.

This week we're watching IN THE YEAR 2889 (1967) in which the future is, of course, a nuclear hellscape and mutants run rampant! Gotta say from the trailer, the future is kind of suspiciously lush and green for a nuclear hellscape.

Anyway the flick's free with ads over on Tubi: https://tubitv.com/movies/611828/in-the-year-2889

Or you can download from Archive.org over here: https://archive.org/details/InTheYear28891967 But the quality's kind of ass.

There's a higher quality print, but it cuts out a scene or two: https://archive.org/details/in-the-year-2889-with-paul-petersen-1969-1080p-hd-film

Choice is yours!

See you tonight!

I can only describe it as feeling like being put through one of those CG swirl transform processes.

When you haven't eaten in seven hours and you can FEEL your blood sugar bounce as you eat ^^;;;

I think this may be my new favorite token I've made :D

Oh, that's what happened. Trump's boys filed a last-minute appeal to try and derail the removal. Didn't work. Get fucked.

https://www.npr.org/2026/06/12/nx-s1-5856349/a-judge-clears-the-way-for-trumps-name-to-be-removed-from-the-kennedy-center

Imagine if he had the capacity to be embarrassed about that. A crowd gathers to watch them take your name OFF a building. In the middle of a week day. 50k people watch online. They cheer every time workmen touch one of the letters of your name. Imagine if he had the emotional awareness to understand how much people hate him.

They're taking Trump's name off the Kennedy Center and people hate that fuck so much there's a crowd gathering <3

I see the stock market is coronating their boy king today. What do you think his flesh would taste like?

Money as a concept is outmoded, from now on the economy will be based on the growth of inedible seedpods.

>randomly decide to check in on the paranormal subreddits this morning

>"Wow it's weird how many UFO sightings are in Russia these days, huh?"

>yeah man i can't think of any reason why there'd be a lot of odd, hard to identify things in the air over russia in this day and age

>must be aliens
