Today’s distraction was https://graphite.rs. It’s a vector editor where everything is based on a node graph that you can edit, letting you make procedural, parametric designs with instant visual feedback. But even if you never open the node editor, it’s really nice for an alpha version of something that runs in a web browser!

This whole Affinity/Canva debacle might just be the thing that pushes me over the edge into full-on open-source radicalism. I’m not sure I’m ready to leave Apple’s walled garden on mobile just yet, but 2026 looks more and more like the year of Linux on the desktop for me.
