Spoke too soon. The Wordpress ActivityPub plugin took the database (and therefore the site) out for quite a while until I deactivated it. Too much faff. Back to #pagecord.

I have managed to keep my blog hosted in the same place for more than a week. Claiming that as a win!

People keep saying that #wordpress is slow and bloaty. With a bit of tweaking and a decent provider it can perform just as well, if not better, than most platforms. #blogging

@mark Caching seems to have sorted itself out. Hopefully it is running all ok - please shout if weirdness appears.

Trying activitypub on wordpress (again), but not moving everyone from this profile for a while - lesson leant! You should see invites from @mark. I've had to undo a move so the profile might look strange for a while, it might still say I've moved back to federate.social as caching updates.

Sometimes people have to capture the absolute nonsense of trends. This sums up everything I hate about the optimising myself thing. It is hilarious, although I am tempted to try alternate nasal breathing just for shits and giggles.
