"s̲", represents displacement. "v̲" velocity.
So, we're left with "d" for (scalar) "distance" but... speed?
Often, "v" is used. But this commonly represents the magnitude of the related v̲, the velocity.
AND a key point is they're not always the same i.e. if we take the average.
So, suggestions for speed?
