Just coming back to town after a week at Presqu'ile Provincial park with my dad and brothers.
Lots of delicious campfire cooking was had, and I got out on my bike a few times.

I decided to do a series of posts about my #homelab architecture.
I'm not quite done with the series yet! I still need to detail the roadmap I currently have planned, but it's complete enough at the moment to post.
Enjoy!

Finally, this machine is back to doing emulation after not being able to for 6 months.
Kiddo is enjoying some Wii and GameCube games.
This is also the only AMD machine in the #proxmox cluster, a 5600G on a Gigabyte B450 Aorus M
Today, I get to mess with the most cursed machine in the #homelab - notably extra cursed because
- it runs proxmox in a VM
- the VM runs on top of fedora in KVM
- the machine lives behind my TV
- the VM is also a ceph OSD node
- the VM boots from a pair of SATA SSDs
Or rather, all of this was true and will be true again by the end of the day.
Due to memory compatibility troubleshooting, I had de-virtualized proxmox, but it's time to undo that.
It's once again time for a new #introduction
Hi! I'm Crabbypup, or just 'crabby', though only in name.
I'm in Kitchener-Waterloo, and I'm a linux-flavoured computer toucher.
I share stuff about the region, Open source software in general and #linux in specific.
I like to tinker in my #homelab, where I run #proxmox, #ceph, and a bunch of other #selfhosted services including #homeassistant.
I'm a rather inconsistent poster, and a prolific booster, but I'm glad to be here.
