Even worse, this stretch of the River at Wanstead Park is one of the most popular natural swimming & paddling spots in East London that will be very busy during the heatwave this week. This deluge of sewage is putting people’s lives (particularly paddling children) at risk. Perhaps @thameswater could use some of the million pound bonus they gave out to stop the sewage & warn local people instead?

We pay for the @BBCNews to inform us, yet if Farage says something about migrants, the BBC and Sky News can spend days treating Reform’s fantasy politics like it is the biggest issue facing the country.

Meanwhile, climate change, one of the biggest threats to our national security and our future, barely gets anything like the same attention.

And here is the irony. The media constantly tells us to fear migration, but if we continue ignoring climate change, we could see migration on a scale never seen before. This time it might be us looking for somewhere safer to live.

I am sick of being fed a divisive narrative simply because Farage says something and the MSM decides it must therefore be important.

Zack is right to call this out. Journalism should be challenging nonsense and informing us about the real threats ahead, not helping one politician decide what the country should be angry about this week.
