ffwd to today, and i have nearly lost my voice because i spend 4 hours warding a kid away from joining the marines "because they promised him cyber cyber shit" and told him to pursue being a sysadmin/sre/devops/etc guy instead, because he will actually learn shit and also not get shot or abused or other horrors associated with becoming an asset owned by the government in 2026.

it always goes like this:
- i go to a social event (friends birthday pool party)
- someone there spots my ink, they gush. they got ink too
- discussion about skincare, tattoo care, lotions, sunblock etc
- what do you do for work? oh youre a hacker guy? oh man i wanna get into cyber cyber cyber
- what do YOU do? oh, something 100% nontechnical and you barely understand how to use a computer at all
- you should go do sysadmin for 2 years first
- what? why? cybercyber seems so cool

Haven’t decided how I feel about the Chorizo style yet.
As someone with an extreme capsicum tolerance I was shocked how spicy the Spiked sauce is.
Barring lost canisters, looks like my first taste was DC25 or CR2. I think my first sauce was 4+ years ago, but I don’t keep those bottles.
