It was an other oppressively hot and humid day. With weather like this, Pop up thunderstorms are always a threat, (and now due to the climate crisis so are tornados), so I have developed a habit of closely watching the sky.
One minute the sky is bright blue like to the right and above the trees, then a dark cloud may begin to form, as is ahead..
This was the area where I saw hundreds of Black Swallowtail Butterflies laying eggs on wildflowers and plants.
