Colours show line voltage if available, and only power lines above 132 kV are visible unless they are offshore.

It took humanity 68 years to install 1TW solar capacity, which we reached in 2022.
It took 2 years to double it to 2TW, which we did in November 2024.
Now a little under 2 years later, we’re at 3TW.

This evening I spent some time going through the latest firefox HEAD, with the idea being to catalog how many files/lines of code could be removed solely on the basis that they only exist to power the built in llm / chat / local ai stuff.
I am currently at 136000 lines of code, a number so absurd that I have forced myself to triple check it - and I'm pretty sure I'm barely half way through this patch.
The security auditor in me weeps.

I had a good conversation about the whole mess and what all the issues were with ESA & SigEnergy with the president of SigEnergy Canada.
I hear they have just now gotten through CSA certification for the full 56 kWh stack.
So you can now, in theory, expand your stack above 20 kWh if ESA will pass it.
Gonna be real interesting to see what ESA says about it.
I want to see the SigEnergy paperwork.
My wall of compliance got me across the ESA goal line...
@haggersnash I originally went for SigEnergy deployment. It's slick gear.
But I wanted more than ESA limit of 20 kWh¹ of battery, which ESA *would not approve* in a single stack.
Except they had passed a bunch of SigEnergy in Eastern Ontario >20 kWh stack.
Oops. A big incident ensued, escalated to the top of ESA. Investigations were opened.
I wasn't willing to AC integrate multiple stacks b/c Hydro One.
