If you boost your own post after 12 hours, you get to double-dip on other continents.

For every poll, there is a story to be told beforehand.

Did you know that you can (usually) shift + scroll on a horizontal scroll area?

There are probably 5 people that follow me here that would appreciate these.

How much work have you ever done on a car?

I discovered a minor vulnerability in a job seeking site. The API shows whether salary should be hidden and also contains the min/max salary, regardless of whether it's hidden or not.

When submitting an application, would it be immoral to use that information for the suggested salary field?

Do you use (posting or just reading) social media at work?

How, after many, many decades, has somebody still not made an open source printer -- or just one that isn't complete anti-user trash?

Needless to say, this will remain ad free forever.

P.S. I am obscenely good at Pitch Placement - ~= 0.5 cents reliably.

@alice Any idea what type of lock this is? It's from an instrument case (its contents are pre-1910, but the case itself has other origins).

Should somebody feel bad if they buy something on craigslist / eBay, for the price the person is asking, and the item turns out to be a lot more valuable?

I'm going to be looking at a set of two violins, each alone being quite a bit less than other listings. Cool, cool. But they're antique and...the price I'm paying is well below the price for antique.
