New anime just dropped (in my house):

That Time I Thought I'd Just Reboot I Mean How Long Could This Windows Update Take Anyway

At least they're not trying to remake the same story. I appreciate that they're looking to create new content, not rehash existing story

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

I just know there going to butcher it but I almost don't care

What's everyone watching this season? 👉👈

This can't be real. We are living in the most absurd timeline. ffmpreg is actually happening

What's some of your favorite #trash #anime? The shows you're not exactly embarrassed to tell people about, but are at least very aware is not "good cinema".

I want to watch something that's low investment.

I got a bonus, almost all of which went to legal bills, but I shaved off a bit to buy myself something (something I always do with windfall money, it's how I stay satisfied being responsible with the rest of it)

But I don't know what to get myself 😂 Normally I would upgrade a device but there's genuinely nothing I want to upgrade right now. Not that I can think of at least

Suggestions? I've got a bit over $500 set aside for enjoyment.

It's not like I follow #vtuber stuff much, but Is it just me or have there been a lot of hololive "graduations" lately that are not amicable? Lots of "creative misalignment" or whatever.

Hey #GameDev folks, I'm looking for an artist I can commission to make some very early mockups of the card-game I'm developing.

The images will be used in a seed-funding investor pitch.

I would also love one or two "mood" concept art pieces but that's of lesser importance.

If that sounds like you, or someone you know (and trust), please reach out!

THANKS! :zerotwoheartlove:

Holy shit they added Patapon 1-3 on PSN and they're free with PS+ Premium

These were some of my favorite PSP games by far and I've wanted to replay them for a long time. I'm so excited about this!

I want to know this as well. What was the OG android ear thingy? :zerotwoSip:

Friendly reminder: On mastodon/etc, Likes (aka Favorites) aren't what they are on other social networks. Around here:

Boost = "I like this, and think others might like it too!"
Favorite = "I like this, but that's between me and OP"

Without an "algorithm" choosing what to show you, we rely on our neighbors and follows to boost cool stuff.

This is a very specific intersection of my interests and it's comedy fucking gold.

Anyone have a good link to some editors notes for DanDaDan? This video makes me realize exactly how much I'm missing

Someone tell me how I'm supposed to feel about Sony confirming their intent to buy KADOKAWA. I'm too tired to form my own opinions today

If an employer ever asks you to resign, tell them "no".

There is no benefit to resigning unless you have another job lined up already.

Make them fire you. Get your unemployment benefits. Make sure you are legally protected in case of malfeasance. Resigning undermines all of that.

This message brought to you by AWS telling workers to return to office 5-days-a-week by commuting or relocating, or they should resign.

Again, the answer is "no, you'll have to fire me."

EDIT: To clarify, in most areas "fired" and "let go" are not legally meaningful terms and can be used interchangeably. The important term is "for cause" or not. So don't commit misconduct to get fired. Poor job performance is typically not a "for cause" reason, nor is failure to accept changes like RTO

This message brought to you by the shitlord that created an "I love little girls" account on our server with no posts and horrible profile contents.

#Fediverse / #Mastodon #PSA

Please, don't just block/suspend bad accounts; report bad actors whenever possible.

Of course, this isn't always safe. But it really helps us admins if you check the rules of the server the offending user is from and, if they are violating those rules, forward a report to that server.

It's the only defense we have in many cases. We don't see private messages. We can't monitor all accounts' profile contents. Even with 100 moderators, continually auditing all old accounts is unsustainable.

So help us out by making sure we know about the bad stuff before we get defederated.
