Gently, these promos are driving me crazy and won’t go away no matter how many times I click thru. I turn badges off for this kind of thing in normal apps

Guy goes shopping for cutlery and sales guy finally shows up. “It’s about tines, man”

LG ultra wide monitor verdict: nice to fit 3 windows across, def miss the sharpness of a 6k display

Nuphy Halo75v2: reasonably nice, esp once I put my favorite switches in. Minor firmware issues they need to sort out tho.

odd to me, so far as i can tell, that macos doesn't have a text scaling option per display that's independent of resolution. e.g. i can run my monitor at full res on windows and set text scaling to 150% just for that display

new keyboard, new monitor, new me. but now i need a monitor arm, and maybe a different new monitor

i forgot stage manager existed until i accidentally turned it on in macos and was entirely disoriented

Now, I have to admit I'm posting this without trying it myself, as I'm running low on disk space on this machine.

Because the full download is 121GB (174GB unzipped!). There is also a lighter version at 14GB that will download stuff on demand.

After verifying that it can do all of the expected normal car things, I asked the new Rivian Assistant to “write me a python script that reverses a string” and it proceeded to recite the contents of a python script over text-to-speech. 10/10 no notes.

I'm about to say something I haven't said in 8 years: I'm looking for a full-time job.

I'm looking for the right role with the right people and the right mission, all of which I've laid out in this blog post. I'm mostly interested in something new, so if this sounds like your team I'd love to talk. https://fabisevi.ch/2026/04/29/open-to-work

Both inquiries and reposts would be incredibly appreciated. 🙇🏻‍♂️

If you liked all my rope physics simulation with SwiftUI, I made an entire (free!) game out of it: Tethered. You play as a humble rope just trying to survive an onslaught of enemies using your own cunning and some very helpful powerups. It's launching RIGHT NOW!

is there a way to configure which window safari opens a link click from another app in? it tends to pick minimized windows for some reason
